QUALIFICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP. All members must meet the qualifications and requirements as established by the By-Laws of AABPP and its officers, to include training, education, and interest in the mental health needs of all populations, with specific interest in the mental health needs of the Black community.
MISSION. The Mission of the AABPP is to promote the mental health of the black community through education, social change, and advocacy and by professional development of black psychology professionals.
MEMBERSHIP VALUE. As a member you join a group of professionals with similar interests and ideas united within a structural group. Membership opportunities include but are not limited to sharing of knowledge, expertise, and collaboration on professional projects to include research.
